What is the Baby Convention
A First in the Region — And Now an Annual Tradition
In March 2025, Sanjivani Women’s Hospital proudly hosted the first-ever Baby Convention in Trinidad and the wider Caribbean region — a vibrant, free-to-the-public event dedicated to expectant mothers, new parents, families, and anyone passionate about the journey of childbirth and early parenting.
This groundbreaking event brought together health professionals, baby and maternity product vendors, and the wider community for a day filled with education, support, and celebration. From breastfeeding tips and postpartum care to cultural stories like “Tanty Tales,” we covered the wide spectrum of early parenthood — with a warm, local touch.
Given the overwhelming success and positive feedback, we’re thrilled to announce that the Baby Convention will now be an annual event.
