Dr Jyothi Persad was awarded an Open National Science Scholarship in 2012 and got accepted into King’s College London in 2013, the #1 University in the World in the field of Dentistry, where she completed her undergraduate bachelor degree with Honours. During this time, she served as a board member on the University’s Dental Society, and also pursued her elective training in Cape Town, South Africa, where she gained valuable experience in oral surgery. After graduation, she did her vocational training in London, during which she was adjudged the top trainee within her program. She was also a finalist at the Future of Dentistry awards in 2019 for the category “Best Case”. Jyothi is committed to post-graduate education and has since completed a number of courses in the area of aesthetic and general dentistry to help improve her skills, as well as presented at numerous national conferences in the UK. She has also since completed her Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry at King’s College London, and is the founder of Dental Beauty Sanjivani, our family dental practice located at Sanjivani Women’s Hospital.
Outside of dentistry, she has her black belt in WTF taekwondo and enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. We’re not sure if it’s her dental training but she certainly has a love for her canine at home – and that’s the Tooth!
