
Dr. Prakashbhan Persad has over 40 years of experience in the medical field. His training journey extends from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, University of Birmingham, England, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, Royal College of Physicians in Dublin, Northern Ireland and Research Fellow for Confidential Enquiries into Stillbirths and Deaths in Infancy (CESDI), Department of Health, UK. He is trained in all areas of General and High Risk Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom. However, his particular areas of interest are General Obstetrics and Gynaecology, High Risk Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine, Perinatal Audit, Gynaecological surgery and Infertility. His commitment to elevating the prevailing standard of Women’s Health Care led to the creation of Sanjivani Women’s Hospital and the establishment of a Post-graduate programme for upcoming specialists.
