Mrs. Shastri Persad has a background in Banking and Finance. She left the Public sector to support her husband for his post graduate training in the UK. During her time, while raising her two children, she was able to observe Women’s Health Care in a First World setting. On return to Trinidad she was instrumental in setting up and managing her husband’s practice at the Emerald Medical Clinic. She has functioned as a Founder, Director, Architect and Interior Designer for the construction of Sanjivani. She is currently the Director of Finance and Administration at Sanjivani but is really the real “behind the scenes” driver of everything “Sanjivani.’
