Urology
Urology is the surgical specialty that deals with disease of the urinary system (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). They manage and perform surgery for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Haematuria (blood in the urine)
- Kidney stones (and other urinary stones)
- Incontinence (involuntary leakage of urine)
- Prolapse of the bladder (cystocele)
- Recurrent or severe urinary tract infections
- Cancers of the kidney and bladder
